According to the official account of Baidu, on May 6, Robin Lee, the founder, chairman and CEO of Baidu, led a team to visit China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) in Beijing, and held talks with Dai Houliang, chairman and party secretary of CNPC. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation and promoting the deep integration of the energy industry and digital intelligence.
Robin Lee said that the "emergence of intelligence" and core capabilities such as understanding, generation, logic and memory demonstrated by the big model opened a broader imagination for the combination of cutting-edge technology and oil and gas business. Baidu has always attached great importance to serving the development of the national energy strategy, and hopes that Baidu can engage in closer cooperation with China Petroleum, deeply participate in the process of China Petroleum's intelligent upgrading, leverage their respective expertise, and jointly explore more application scenarios of innovative technologies in the oil and gas industry.
At present, Baidu and PetroChina have cooperated in multiple fields. During this meeting, both sides have reached a consensus on further deepening cooperation.
