Toyota, the global sales champion, has been embroiled in a fraud scandal, with 174 violations of its subsidiary's 64 models. In a statement on Wednesday, Toyota announced that in a vehicle investigation by its subsidiary Daihatsu, it found that most of its vehicles had falsified safety collision test data, and therefore will suspend all vehicle shipments. Toyota has discovered approximately 174 violations in 64 models, including some models sold under the Toyota brand.
