On May 8th, Sohu Qianliyan reported that consumers in Huanggang, Hubei Province reported that they found moldy ice cubes when they opened the lid of their coffee purchased from Luckin Coffee (Aidu Building store). The customer claimed to have vomited three times afterwards and has now lodged a complaint with the local municipal supervision bureau. On May 9th, Luckin customer service responded and will record feedback to the specialist. On May 9th, Interface News inquired with Luckin Coffee's official authorities about this matter and related responses, but Luckin Coffee stated that there was no response.
