On February 15 local time, Carl Jenkins, senior vice president in charge of the autonomous vehicle platform of Cruise, a subsidiary of General Motors, posted on LinkedIn, a workplace social networking platform, that he decided to leave after six years of work in the company. Jenkins stated in his post that his team is responsible for developing Cruise's autonomous driving hardware, including microchips, sensors, and computers, and collaborating with General Motors to develop products.
