On January 18th, Jennifer Homendi, Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in the United States, stated that the hatch that fell off on a Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft flying on Alaska Airlines was produced by Boeing's supplier Spirit AeroSystems in Malaysia.
