According to Yonhap News Agency on December 23, around 7 pm local time, a fire broke out at the Pohang Iron and Steel Plant in South Korea, causing power outages and resulting in the suspension of most of the factories at the Pohang Steel Plant in Dongcun dong, South District, Pohang City, Gyeongsangbuk do, South Korea.
