McDonald's announced that non E. coli contaminated beef patties will resume delisting from the market

On October 28th, according to CCTV News, it was learned that on October 27th local time, McDonald's in the United States stated that after testing, the beef patties in the burgers were not a source of E. coli contamination. McDonald's will resume sales of burger products that were temporarily delisted due to E. coli contamination next week, but the resumed burgers will not contain raw onion slices that are currently considered a source of contamination.
It is understood that the US Food and Drug Administration believes that raw onion slices from a single supplier may be a source of E. coli contamination, and McDonald's has confirmed that Taylor Farms, a California based agricultural company, is the supplier of the involved onion slices, which came from a factory in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Taylor Farm announced on the 25th that they have voluntarily recalled the yellow onions sent to customers from their Colorado factory and are continuing to cooperate with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration in their investigation.
