On September 19th, Faraday Future (FF), listed on NASDAQ, announced the launch of its second brand, Faraday X (FX), and two AIEV models, FX5 and FX6. In addition, FF also announced the signing of cooperation agreements or memorandums of understanding with four domestic automakers to become the first automaker in the United States to fully promote extended range AIEVs.
According to sources from Faraday Future, the price range for the first two FX products, FX5 and FX6, is expected to be between $20000 to $30000 and $30000 to $50000. The new brand Faraday X is an important component of Faraday Future's overall growth strategy and a part of the company's global automotive industry bridge strategy.
The core logic of the second brand and bridge strategy is to create an industrial bridge, promote close cooperation in the global supply chain, and develop high-performance and cost-effective B-AIEV and RE-AIEV products for the US market. The person in charge of Faraday Future stated that the launch of two models, FX5 and FX6, under the company's second brand FX in the first phase was a cautious decision made after detailed market research. FX will launch two models in the first phase. The FX5 is positioned as a large space sports AIEV, targeting the mainstream market. The slogan is "Create Your Ultimate Body Price Ratio AIEV Together", with the goal of becoming the first AIEV for every struggler and helping users balance work and life; FX6 is positioned as a luxurious ultra large space AI car for families, aiming to become a mobile AI space and home AIEV for happy families, helping users balance family and personal needs. The FX5 and FX6 models will offer two powertrain options - extended range AIEV and pure electric AIEV.
